We’ve got the rundown on some of your favorite daytime Emmy award winners.
The 36th annual daytime Emmy Awards took place in primetime Sunday night and for the ladies of The View, it wasn’t a moment too soon. After being shut out for the last 12 years, Barbara, Joy, Whoopi, Elisabeth, and Sherri finally won for outstanding talk show hosts.
It wasn’t Tyra Banks second win in 2 years for outstanding talk show informative that had the crowd buzzing, but the big shiny sparkler on her finger.
Rachael Ray took home the trophy for best entertainment talk show beating out Ellen DeGeneres for the second year in a row.
Meredith Vieira who splits her time between the Today Show and hosting Who Wants to be a Millionaire won for Millionaire. Her morning program didn’t fare as well though. That trophy went to Good Morning America.
