American Idol alum Adam Lambert says he isn’t sorry about his over-the-top American Music Awards performance, where he spontaneously kissed another guy and simulated sex.

“I admit I did get carried away. But I don’t see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended but that was certainly not my intention, I wasn’t being sneaky, my intention was to interpret the lyrics in my song and have a good time up there. Did you plan when you were rehearsing to include those sexually charged moves, those kind of came from an impromptu place, uh not rehearsed, so uh I think ABC was taken by surprise that wasn’t my intention I wasn’t being sneaky.”
BUT ADAM’S NOT SORRY…IN FACT HE SAYS HE’S THE VICTIM OF A DOUBLE STANDARD…
“If it had been a female performing those moves, I don’t think here would be nearly as much of an outrage, again Janet Jackson crotch grab. Do you think it’s because you’re a male or gay? Both. I’m a double whammy.”
