Alicia Keys is not happy that Amy Winehouse was not included on the new James Bond theme song.
The singer told UK’s Daily Record she would have “loved” to record with the troubled star.
Although Winehouse was in the running to sing the official Bond song for the new movie Quantum of Solace, she was snubbed when producer Mark Ronson pulled her version. Instead, the producers surprised fans when they chose Alicia Keys and Jack White to sing the theme song.
The “Rehab” singer was furious and mocked the movie executives for opting for a “clean-cut and boring” lineup.
But, Keys admitted that sharing the vocals with Winehouse on the new song, “Another Way To Die,” would have made her happy.
Keys told the website, “I would have loved for her to do it, it would have been awesome. All three of us should do it.”
Winehouse has said she still plans to record her version of the 007 song.
