Sources close to Alex Rodriguez are calling him a “religious chameleon”…the Yankees third baseman is said to be learning about Buddhism lately thanks to his girlfriend Kate Hudson.
An insider tells the New York Daily News, “it's an important part of her life. And it seems like Alex really just wants to make her happy.”
Kate was even seen holding Buddha prayer beads at one of the Yankees-Angels playoffs games. The good luck ritual may have worked that night, but it remains to be seen if the Yankees will make it to the World Series.
Either way, a-rod seems to have hit a home run with Kate’s mom, Goldie Hawn. The source tells the paper, “Goldie more than approves of Alex. If he becomes a Buddhist, it'll only seal the deal.”
