Former Bachelor Jason Mesnick will be saying “I do” to Molly Malaney, the infamous runner-up who replaced Melissa Rycroft as Jason’s final pick.
Since reversing his decision on the After the Final Rose episode, Jason and Molly have been maintaining a long-distance relationship–he lives in Seattle; she’s in Milwaukee.
Apparently the couple realized they were ready to take the next step during a romantic return to New Zealand, where the two spent time during the final episodes of The Bachelor.
People magazine reports Mesnick, a single dad, popped the question to Malaney, who happily accepted!

girly girl, they did not put Melissa through anything! Jason and Melissa broke up LAST DECEMBER!!! Long before that final show was filmed. Melissa already was SEEING the guy she is engaged to now (she said it on Ellen and she was all smiley and goofy about him on Ellen a day or two before the show she and Jason were on aired). I watched Ellen that day just to see what Melissa would say. She was NOT dumped on national TV, since they were already broken up, and Jason had NOT been in contact with Molly, even though Melissa insinuated on Ellen that they were. As for you saying he is not going to be a happy man, well, you are WRONG. He has been happy with Molly for months now, and it doesn’t look likely to change. Melissa was putting on an act on that final show when she walked off…she is as phony as a three-dollar bill, and that came across all the way through the Bachelor and on DWTS.
