A Florida medical examiner has determined that pitchman, Billy Mays, likely died of a heart attack.
Hillsborough County Medical Examiner, Vernard Adams, announed that 50-year-old Mays had suffered from hypertensive heart disease, the AP reports.
Mays, who was found dead early Sunday morning in his Tampa home, had hit his head during a turbulant landing on a commericial plane just one day earlier, although Adams says there was no evidence of head trauma.
While final autopsy results will not be known for several weeks, initial findings show that Mays, best known for his booming voice on OxiClean infomercials, “had an enlarged heart, a thickening of the wall of the ventricle which takes blood to the heart.”
