Brad Pitt chatted with Oprah Winfrey on Wednesday, a day after the two separately attended Barack Obama’s election celebration in Chicago.
“I would have invited you out with me to the rally last night,” Oprah told Brad when he sat down for the interview, according to TheseBootsAreMadeForStalking. “But I was down with the people and I didn’t think you would want to be.”
But Brad told her that he was down with the people, too, and even took public transportation to the rally. “I took the tram, shoulder to shoulder,” said Pitt.
Pitt sat down with Oprah to plug his new movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, along with co-star Cate Blanchett.
Even though Oprah is known to be on Team Aniston, she referred to Pitt’s current partner Angelina Jolie as “the love of [his] life,” adding that the actor looked the happiest he’s ever been.
“Dare I say,” Brad confirmed.
“Dare I see,” Oprah answered.
Inevitably, Winfrey asked Pitt if he and Jolie plan to expand their brood, which already includes six kids.
“Probably,” answered Pitt. “It’s [parenthood] the greatest endeavor I’ve ever taken on. Why stop now?”
Brad added that his little ones are the “funniest people” and revealed that Shiloh is going through a stage where she’ll only answer to the names names John and Peter.
At the end of the show, The Boots Girls report, Oprah broke out a recent cover of W magazine that shows Jolie breastfeeding, in a photo Pitt took.
Pitt commented that while his stunning girlfriend is usually portrayed as a “femme fatale,” she’s actually very sweet in real life.
Oprah’s interview with Brad Pitt is set to air Nov. 18.
