Some people are such hypocrites, people simply judge people on looks in society today, and when something like that bangs them in the face, they suddenly realise that the most important thing is to have a good heart, and it shows on your face. It’s annoying so many people “expected her to be bad. What does a person’s looks have to do with how well someone can sing or dance or perform some other talent? She’s not very goodlooking, but people are so shallow they thought this would actually affect her performance. She’s fabulous, but definitely not the first to turn jeers into cheers on a “Got Talent” show! Check out Donald Braswell singing “You Raise Me Up” for his America’s Got Talent audition, he did exactly the same thing during 2008 when he sang for Piers and 2 other judges, having previously lost his ability to speak much less sing for several years as the result of an accident. His story is just as moving and inspirational as Susan’s, check him out!

Some people are such hypocrites, people simply judge people on looks in society today, and when something like that bangs them in the face, they suddenly realise that the most important thing is to have a good heart, and it shows on your face. Unfortunately, they can get hit by this inspirational clip, but they won’t change their ways, imagine that happening to loads of people like Susan Boyle who are talented but are turned away because they are different, she will be the next big thing.

It’s annoying so many people “expected her to be bad. What does a person’s looks have to do with how well someone can sing or dance or perform some other talent? She’s not very goodlooking, but people are so shallow they thought this would actually affect her performance. This is proof that we shouldn’t look at a persons appearence for a singer, it’s the voice and not the face. Look at all the great singers and bands of the 60’s and 70’s, the were some ugly people but put out the best music. 99% of the pretty ones can’t sing to save their lives but are popular because they are hot and appeal to 12 year olds.

Check out Donald Braswell singing “You Raise Me Up” for his America’s Got Talent audition, he did exactly the same thing during 2008 when he sang for Piers and 2 other judges, having previously lost his ability to speak much less sing for several years as the result of an accident. His story is just as moving and inspirational as Susan’s, check him out!

The U.S has a similar story, Donald Braswell came in 4th on AGT last year. On his first audition he came out in a crumpled business suit and the crowd was mocking him like they did Susan and America was worse, they started booing him, but instead of running off the stage, he kept singing and his voice is a God given gift that turned the crowd 180 degrees to where they were giving him a standing ovation like they did Susan. She’s fabulous, but definitely not the first to turn jeers into cheers on a “Got Talent” show! Check out Donald Braswell singing “You Raise Me Up” for his America’s Got Talent audition, he did exactly the same thing during 2008 when he sang for Piers and 2 other judges, having previously lost his ability to speak much less sing for several years as the result of an accident. His story is just as moving and inspirational as Susan’s, check him out!

On his first audition he came out in a crumpled business suit and the crowd was mocking him like they did Susan and America was worse, they started booing him, but instead of running off the stage, he kept singing and his voice is a God given gift that turned the crowd around to where they were giving him a standing ovation like they did Susan. What an amazing woman Susan Boyle is and her talent is indisputable, but she’s not the first to turn jeers into cheers on a “Got Talent” show! Check out Donald Braswell on YouTube singing “You Raise Me Up” for his America’s Got Talent audition, having previously lost his ability to speak much less sing for several years as the result of an accident. His story is just as moving and inspirational as Susan’s, it just didnt get all the attention that she got. Check out his Music of the Night also.

I think she is good, very good not amazing. I think there are people in the competition who are better than her though. I don’t think we should discriminate against the attractive people in the competition. We should judge her on her singing alone and from the semi final I don’t think she is as good as other acts. If a pretty young woman had her voice then she wouldn’t have got so far. True we judged her on her looks but we shouldn’t go the opposite way and glorify her talent because of it.
