Britney fans walk out on her Australian concert…and the star is supposedly “extremely upset.”
It’s wasn’t the circus act Britney spears is used to…..
Fans getting up, walking out and demanding their money back at her concert last weekend in Perth, Australia…
Concert-goers told Australia’s herald sun they were upset about the pop star’s lip synching…saying, “we are really big Britney fans but it was crap.” And “it was just really bad…she has not spoken, there is no interaction.”
Fans spent anywhere from $200 to $1500 per ticket, and were disappointed that Britney’s dance moves, which seemed sloppy and stiff, weren’t being shown on the jumbo screens above the stage…
Brit’s manager, Adam Leber, came to her defense, posting this on brat’s twitter. “It’s unfortunate that one journalist in Perth didn't enjoy the show last night. Fortunately the other 18,272 fans in attendance did.”
Within minutes of Adam’s tweet, thousands of positive messages from Britney’s fans poured in…
Then even john Mayer weighed in on the controversy, tweeting, “if you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you.”

We have a lot of people here who are die hard britney fans and quite obviously spent a lot of money for a good performance.
If you look up anything about the australian culture you will see we believe in giving people a ‘fair go’, but we are also a very honest and upfront culture and dont particulary want to see expensive crap. Take our kylie Minogue, never seen her lip sync once in the 7 times ive seen her.
Most singers lip-synch during a concert because they’ll sound bad since they’re tired from rehersal and dancing while they sing. They just want the best for their fans.
About time. Australians don’t put up with studio regurgitation. They paid to see a singer. If she can’t sing and dance at the same time, then she better pick one or the other as a career. Only Americans put up with third or second class acts as first class. Americans have been weened from birth to except crap. Britney has to show talent in front of an audience, and not think she can do retakes like she can in a studio.

This is pretty hilarious/disturbing. I know fans of pop music are lame but they actually encourage lip-synching? What is the point of a live performance if you are listening to a recording? when she was doing her circus tour in USA she did lip sync BUT she also did some actual singing as well. I mean who can seriously say they can dance like her & sing at the same time ??? some ppl can but most cant. I rather her lip sync than have to hear breathing in the mic because she is out of breath from dancing. Most artist who sing in mic they sound horrible when they are out of breath.
I think at this point no one cares about her singing as long as she dances more. But if she is going to dance easy and lightly at least she could try singing. The fans are quite upset because she is not delivering both things.

Singing and dancing is possible, and she doesn’t dance, technically, she does not. But this case only shows that Australians are really from far away – I mean, everyone knows she’s lip-syncing! the idea of the conert is to see and HEAR the artist sing as similar as possible…

She used to sing You Oughta Know live on this tour and parts of Everytime..very well..perfect amount of live singing. i personally dont know y anyone would wanna hear her (or any artist) try belting out “woma-womanizer womanizer ur a womanizer oh womanizer oh ur a womanizer baby” in a panting voice..it would b awful. i do wish she would do U Oughta Know & Everytime live
also, dont u watch vids of her tour? she has been touring since March… u should of checked out the show b4 u invested n it

they should let you know before you buy tickets for a concert that it’s going to be lip synched!

This is pretty hilarious/disturbing. I know fans of pop music are lame but they actually encourage lip-synching? What is the point of a live performance if you are listening to a recording? You’re paying hundreds of bucks to listen to her cd played really loud. This reveals a whole new level of how talentless Britney and acts like her are. How can they even be considered artists?

Actually many people walked out on her concert here, not just a couple, PLENTY of people. She apparently didnt even try lip syncing that well, a lot of her mouthed words didnt even go with the words.

This is complete bullshit. First of all there wasn’t any fans that left the concert. It was just the one journalist that went on and talked complete crap about the show.
Yes it is true that Britney was lypsycning, SHES BEEN DOING IT HER ENTIRE CAREER! Bunch of fucking iddiots. If your going to see Britney I’m pretty sure your well aware shes going to put on an amazing show and be entertaining but lyp syncing.

I think the journalist is simply pointing out the fact that fans rarely get to see Britney in Perth & go to her concert to see and hear as much of her as they can. Thus when the entire show is a recording they could well have stayed at home and watched a dvd of the songs instead.

when she was doing her circus tour in USA she did lip sync BUT she also did some actual singing as well. I mean who can seriously say they can dance like her & sing at the same time ??? some ppl can but most cant. I rather her lip sync than have to hear breathing in the mic because she is out of breath from dancing. Most artist who sing in mic they sound horrible when they are out of breath.

Singing and dancing is possible, and she doesn’t dance, technically, she does not. But this case only shows that Australians are really from far away – I mean, everyone knows she’s lip-syncing! But I’m so glad that finally people act smart and walk out and demand their money back! Good job, Australians, I’m proud of you!

the idea of the conert is to see and HEAR the artist sing as similar as possible…
