Former ESPN production assistant Brooke Hundley speaks out on Good Morning America about her sex scandal with Steve Phillips, saying the married sports analyst bullied her into silence about their affair.
BROOKE HUNDLEY, THE FORMER PRODUCTION ASSISTANT WHO HAD AN AFFAIR WITH ESPN ANALYST STEVE PHILLIPS SPEAKS OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT THE SEX SCANDAL THAT COST THEM BOTH THEIR JOBS.
“I didn't in any time working at ESPN follow anybody around, wanting any sort of relationship with anybody. I didn't harass anyone. I didn't want anything from anyone,"
BUT THE 22 YEAR OLD GRABBED HEADLINES WHEN SHE WAS ACCUSED OF STALKING PHILLIP’S FAMILY.
Sot so you didn’t stalk them? Absolutely not?
BUT, BROOKE INSISTS SHE WAS JUST TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO LISTEN TO HER.
I did things and I thought about things just as an avenue to get people to pay attention, to start asking the right questions, to get me out of a bad situation. //I would never have wanted anybody else to feel or to go through what I was going through.//"I brought it on, but not intentionally.
BROOKE SAYS SHE WAS THREATENED TO KEEP SILENT ABOUT THE AFFAIR EVEN FILing A RESTRAINING ORDER WHICH SHE EVENTUALLY WITHDREW. BUT SHE SAYS SHE FELT LIKE HER BACK WAS AGAINST THE WALL.
"I was in a situation where I felt like if I didn't do what was asked of me, then everything I had worked for, for the past six years, everything I had done to establish myself as a successful media professional, could be gone like that.
BROOKE SAYS SHE’S OWNING UP TO HER ROLE IN THE SEX SCANDAL AND PHILLIP NEEDS TO DO THE SAME
