Britney Spears’ father, Jamie, has been her conservator for years and now a judge has granted fiance, Jason Trawick, co-conservatorship over the star, People reports.

The family is thrilled with the decision says Trawick’s attorney, Geraldine Wyle, “It’s all in the family,” he adds.

As a conservator, Jason will have authority over decisions including: food, medical care and clothing for Britney, however Trawick will have no control over Britney’s multi-million  dollar fortune.

The couple became engaged last December and have not announced a wedding date yet.
