Never mind all those rumors about Gwyneth Paltrow’s marriage being kaput.
The actress’ mom says Gwynnie’s marriage to Coldplay singer Chris Martin is just fine.
“They don’t take pictures together if they can avoid it. It’s a strategy. They don’t want the pandemonium,” Paltrow’s mom Blythe Danner tells Fox 411.
As for Paltrow’s holiday plans, Danner says Gwyneth, Chris and the kids are staying in merry old England for the holidays.
“They’re staying in England for the new year. Then coming here,” she says.
Paltrow’s pal Madonna will also be spending Christmas in England. Wonder if the two will meet up for some holiday yoga sesssions?
A new report says Gwyneth Paltrow is desperately trying to save her marriage to Coldplay singer Chris Martin after Madonna’s divorce.
Tom, Katie & Suri Cruise--along with Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman--share the holiday spirit.

Want to dress like Gwyneth Paltrow? The actress shows you how in her latest GOOP newsletter.
“I like to stick to the classics in both my everyday life and in the evening,” the actress tells wannabe Gwynnies.
Paltrow, 36, proves the point by making like paper doll and poses in a variety of her favorite little black dresses, accessorized for day and night.
“Whether I am going to meet friends for dinner, a cocktail party or a bigger event, the most classic of classics, the little black dress, never fails me…It could be Zara, it could be Balenciaga, but a well-cut, well-proportioned black dress has gotten me through many a fashion crisis.”
Another key element of Paltrow’s look? A rockin’ bod—and kick-butt shoes.
Among her favorites: Roger Vivier red plaid ankle boots (about $1,200) and lace-up Giuseppe Zanotti grey patent peep-toe heels.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s latest role? Best friend.
The actress is lending support to her longtime pal Madonna, who is going through a very public divorce battle with director Guy Ritchie.
“She’s a very good friend,” Paltrow told reporters on Monday night at the London premiere of Two Lovers.
“I’m supporting her in all the ways that I can. I’m just there for her. I speak to her a lot.”
Madonna and Ritchie, who announced their split on Oct. 15, were married at a Scottish castle in December of 2000, with none other than Gwyneth as their maid of honor.
Despite rumors of an early divorce settlement between Madonna and Ritchie, the singer’s publicist insists nothing has been finalized.
Madonna is continuing on her Sticky & Sweet tour, while Ritchie has been working on his film Sherlock Holmes near London.
It seems like Madge and Guy are already on track with living separate lives.

Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest celeb to catch flack from PETA after being spotted sporting a fox fur shawl in Tods’ latest ad campaign.
PETA President Ingrid Newkirk criticized the repeat offender while pointedly playing off the name of the actress’ 4-year-old daughter, Apple.
“Gwyneth Paltrow won’t be the apple of her daughter’s eye if she flaunts the skins of once-beautiful animals,” Newkirk said in a statement. “Promoting an industry that electrocutes animals, snaps their necks, and skins them alive is a shocking example to set for a young child.”
Surprisingly, Paltrow has previously been held in high regard by animal activists for her strict vegetarian diet and support of environmentally-friendly lifestyles.
But Newkirk contends the actress’ “beauty really is only skin deep,” and claims PETA has “sent [Paltrow] videos showing how animals suffer for fur” along with numerous letters urging the Iron Man star to go faux.
Hollywood ladies be warned: Paltrow is not the first celebrity to fall under the animal rights group’s radar.
Last December, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were targets of an aggressive ad campaign featuring a photo of the two with the words “Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People” emblazoned across.
