Jennifer Aniston is not about to hide out after her recent breakup with John Mayer.

The actress strolled into Madeo restaurant in Beverly Hills on Tuesday for lunch with film director Woody Allen, a source tells CelebTV.com.

The former Friends star proudly sported a gold and jade ring on her left hand as she walked into the restaurant.

Aniston and John Mayer called it quits earlier this month. Shortly afterwards, John Mayer explained it was because he needed to be alone.

He explained, “People are different, people have different chemistry,”

Added the media-friendly singer, “I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.”

Aniston’s camp claims she was the one who ended the relationship because she was tired of paying for everything—and because she was fed up with Mayer’s habit of tipping off the paparazzi to the couple’s whereabouts.

The pair began dating in April.

John Mayer isn’t getting much love these days – at least not from the paparazzi.

Thanks to the singer’s summer romance with Jennifer Aniston, he was a recent media darling. Mayer and Aniston got cozy in L.A., London and lots of cities in between.

But the lightbulbs are apparently no longer flashing for Mayer, to his dismay.

“He thinks he’s famous as Jen now,” one pap told MSNBC.com.

“Last week he went to a party, tipped off the paps, and even had decoy cars at the ready when he was leaving…no one bothered to follow him.

The singer’s stock has dropped considerably since he and Aniston broke up earlier this month.

“Pictures of him and Jen were selling for $20,000 at one point,” a source tells the website. “A picture of him alone gets $200 now.”

Don’t feel sorry for Jennifer Aniston just yet.

John Mayer told reporters this weekend that he ended the relationship because he wanted to be alone, and didn’t want to “waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.”

But Aniston’s friends say that’s just not true.

“Jen will never kiss and tell, but it’s she who ended the relationship,” a source close to Aniston told MSNBC.

“(Mayer’s) childish behavior only confirms she was right to dump him. Now he’s acting like a spoiled child.”

Added the insider: “Expect Jen to behave like a lady.”

One friend of the actress told the website that Mayer’s was a little too tight with the paparazzi.

“He has a relationship with certain paparazzi (and) bloggers,” the source said. “He tips them off. He loves the attention. Jen didn’t want to believe it was happening, but it was, and she has no tolerance for that.”

But possibly the worst issue Aniston had with John Mayer was that he was cheap, say friends.

“Jen was tired of paying for everything,” said another source close to the actress. “Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer’s) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her.”

While the former Friends star is unlikely to set the record straight, her pals say they’re pretty sure Mayer will continue to blab.

“We’re talking about a guy who had a car waiting to take him home in New York, but he chose to walk so he could talk to the press (along the way). He’ll drag this out until there’s someone new,” added the source.

“There’s no lying, there’s no cheating, there’s no nothing,” Mayer told reporters Saturday about his split with Aniston, after working out at an Equinox Gym in New York’s SoHo neighborhood.

Not only is there no drama, Mayer said, “Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met.”

So why did the couple call it quits?

“People are different, people have different chemistry,” Mayer explained. “I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.”

Jennifer Aniston did not rebound with model Matt Felker, despite a slew of reports linking the pair just days after her recent split from rocker John Mayer.

Aniston’s rep tells CelebTV.com the actress has “no recollection of meeting [Felker].”

Rumors had the Friends star hooking up with the model over a week ago.

A rep for Felker—who is best known for dating Selma Blair and starring in Britney Spears’ “Toxic” music video— was quick to deny the romance on the record, telling Access Hollywood the rumors were “totally not true.”

Aniston and Mayer began dating in April and split last Wednesday amid rumors the crooner cheated on his the A-list actress with three ladies, including a cocktail waitress and a woman who’s been described as a groupie.

Jennifer Aniston may be dealing with heartbreak once again.

Rocker John Mayer reportedly dumped the Friends actress last week.

“There’s been a bit of tension for some time,” a source close to Mayer told the Daily Mirror. “They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked.”

The source explained, “John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved.”

According to the source, rumors that Aniston wanted children were not true—but the 39-year-old did want a solid commitment from the singer.

“Contrary to reports, Jen didn’t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.”

Aniston apparently asked Mayer to cut down his touring schedule to spend more time with her, but when he refused and told her of his decision, she was “furious.”

Brad Pitt and Aniston divorced four years ago. Pitt recently welcomed twins with Angelina Jolie, the fifth and sixth child for the couple.

Aniston has since been linked to Vince Vaughn and model Paul Sculfor. Mayer and Aniston began dating in spring of this year.

Reps for Mayer and Aniston did not immediately return our calls for comment.
