On Thursday -- the same day TLC announced they were canceling "LA Ink" --Kat Von D and Jesse James posted separate pics of themselves getting cozy on Twitter.

The tattoo artist shared a photo of the couple hugging it out. And Jesse posted this shot of the two getting up close and very personal, with the caption "para siempre" (PAR-UH SEE-EM-PRAY) --Spanish for "forever."
Jesse confirmed the two are officially back together-- and that Kat is wearing her engagement ring -- telling People.com: "Sometimes you are only given one chance in life," he says. "It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her."

The ink-loving duo called off their engagement last month, citing distance as the reason for the split. He runs a garage outside Austin; her tattoo business is based in L.A.

But even after the two broke up, their relationship continued to play out on Kat's TLC reality show, "LA Ink, where she sometimes talked about the challenge of having a long-distance romance.
