Pouring rain, mud, 90 degree heat and a crowd of about 225, 000 people- it’s my favorite time of year: Lollapalooza.
The fun kicked off Friday at the Music Lounge at The Hard Rock Hotel. I was lucky enough to score a pass that allowed me, other media, members of the music industry and artists to enjoy three days and nights of air-conditioned fun.
The lucky few scored swag from Dickies, Blue Microphones, Ben Sherman and got free tattoos, and the rest of us chatted while drinking Fuze Beverage and snacking on Café Bustelo and Berry Chill.
The City star Erin Lucas looked super cute in a black flowered dress while former NFL star Simeon Rice supported his sister, new artist, Yashi who brought down the house with her Music Lounge performance.
At night the Hard Rock Hotel turned into a party with performances by Santigold, Passion Pit and The Virgins who played for none other than miss Lindsay Lohan and her sister Ali.
My friends at C3 who put on the event snagged me an amazing wristband for the three day festival which allowed me to do surreal things like ride from stage to stage in golf carts, share a port-a-potty with Ed Westwick and Jessica Szhor (not at the same time!) and attend Perry Ferrell’s nightly bbq.
Friday after Kings Of Leon kicked off Lolla on a perfect note, I stopped by Pete Wentz’s bar Angels and Kings. AK hosted Samantha Ronson’s 32nd birthday party complete with black and white skull cupcakes. Sam loves AK and brought her friends and family including Lindsay Lohan for fun that lasted till sunrise. Saturday night Sam dj’ed and GZA of the Wu-Tang clan preformed a few of his mega hits for the small but lucky crowd that included Miss Lohan once again.
By Sunday I was wiped, but still made it back to the Music Lounge where Dickies hooked me up with some cool sunglasses that I sported backstage for Vampire Weekend. The heat index of 105 wasn’t enough to keep the massive crowd from dancing to some old school Snoop Dogg and a sunset performance by the Killers ended an incredibly memorable weekend.

Did Lohan lift the goods?
Lindsay Lohan’s been having trouble finding a job lately, so what’s an out of work actress to do? Start a production company of course.
Lohan and Kristi Kaylor, who runs her 6126 brand, are teaming up to start a new production company, Unforgettable Prods., according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Lindsay and Kritsi are in the works of creating several projects including a new TV show, Faux Real, described as Entourage for the fashion world.
The duo is also in the midst of optioning several books for both film and TV.
“We’re taking a 360-degree approach,” Kaylor told the trade paper. “Lindsay is 23 years old, and she’s so plugged in to mobile media.”
Before her career in fashion, Kristi worked for various production companies, and even teamed up with Jennifer Aniston.
Party girl Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to a hangover, so you’d think the “actress” would have no problem starring in a movie about just that.
Wrong.
Lohan, who has publicly discussed her trouble landing a job, turned down a role in what has turned out to be one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters.
The 23-year-old struggling actress was reportedly offered a spot in The Hangover–which has earned $205 million to date– a source tells Us Weekly.
Director Todd Phillips approached Lindsay to play Jade, a stripper, a role to which she said “had no potential.”
“The agent tried hard to get Phillips to consider her,” a source told the mag, “and when he finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn’t like the script!”
Actress Heather Graham scored the part instead.

Ryan Seacrest might be teaming up with Lindsay Lohan, but there’s no need to start feeling sorry for Samantha Ronson: this Hollywood hookup is just business.
“Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her…it helps people and gives others a second shot!” Ryan wrote on his Twitter, after the two were spotted together at L.A.’s H.Wood. “Still putting it all together.”
Linds also shared the news of her small-screen plans with her Twitter followers writing, “Working on a really great project for television — I am excited!” she wrote. “Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover on ABC…

The show will follow real people who have made mistakes and are then offered $1 million for a second chance at life, according to TMZ.
Lohan will reportedly serve on a panel of judges to hear contestants’ stories.
