After a flurry of hype surrounding Lindsay Lohan’s scheduled appearance on tonight’s Late Show, the actress took to Twitter to set the record straight.
“I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I’m not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion…” Lohan tweeted late Tuesday.
The rumor was apparently started by Late Show producer Justin Stangel, who tweeted this week: “BREAKING @LindsayLohan will be presenting the Top Ten List on Thursday’s @Late_Show #Letterman.”
The Letterman staff insists that someone called to book Lindsay on the show, but it’s not yet clear who that was. Sounds like a late-night mystery!
