The 17-year-old singer and the Aussie actor, 20, split last month but were spotted in L.A. Saturday getting Starbucks. Miley was back in town after doing some filming in Paris for her new movie, LOL.

The two first met on the set of their movie, The Last Song, in 2009.

Miley Cyrus has definitely undergone an image transformation the last few months, but despite ongoing rumors, Katy Perry has no problem with it at all!

Last week, Life and Style claimed that a spy backstage at the MuchMusic Awards overheard Katy say, “she’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes,” referring to Miley.  The source even went as far to say that Katy added, “No, she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad.”

But, always the the unique stylista herself, Katy took to her Twitter page over the weekend to deny slamming Cyrus:

“Rumor control: I never said sh– bout my girl Miley. I love that ho. Mags should stop pitting girls against each other. We all can co-exist!”
