For the past five weeks, the American Idol judge has kept to a strict diet of veggies based smoothies and one protein meal a day, and already lost 12 pounds!
“I am vain. I’m obsessed with my weight,” Simon said.
The notorious chain-smoker has also cut his 40-cigarette a day habit down to 15.
A friend of Simon’s tells In Touch Weekly, “They’re getting married this summer, and Simon wants to look his best. He’s losing weight, and Mezhgan is showing him how to do it.”
The couple was recently spotted at West Hollywood spot, Cecconi’s, where they each dined on a green salad, and then split a fish entree.
The couple have yet to announce when they plan to tie the knot.
