Faith Hill has a unique spin on the term “birthday suit.”
The country star posed in a sexy bikini for the December cover of Shape magazine in honor of her latest birthday.
“Wearing a bikini on a magazine cover is my 41st birthday present to myself,” says Hill, who donned a skimpy pink and orange two-piece for the shoot.
The mother of three credits her lean, toned physique to Pilates. “I could bend in ways I haven’t been able to since I was a teenager. My husband [Tim McGraw] loves it!” she tells the mag.
An athlete growing up, Hill admits she’d slacked off after her teen years:
“I was always very athletic, playing basketball and softball and running track. But in my 20s and 30s, I’d go through phases with exercise, working out for four weeks before a big tour or video shoot and not doing much afterward. Then I had three kids and turned 40, so I decided to make a lifestyle change.”
Hubby Tim McGraw also keeps Hill moving, joining her for a daily workout that includes logging four miles on the elliptical, plus doing light weights, crunches and push-ups.
The December issue of Shape hits newsstands Nov. 10.
