A Chicago jury has found William Balfour, the man accused of murdering Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in 2008 guilty on all charges.
It was believed Balfour killed Hudson’s family members after finding out his estranged wife, Julia Hudson, Jennifer’s sister, was involved with another man.
After jurors deliberated for 18 hours, William was found guilty on three counts of murder and four other counts related to the 2008 slayings.
Jennifer Hudson, along with her fiance David Otunga and sister Julia entered the courtroom prior to the verdict being read.
William Balfour now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
