Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend, Camila Alves, are sharing the first photo of their 3 1/2 week old daughter, Vida.

The couple posted a pic of the baby girl on Matthew’s website, with a message reading, “Here’s a pic of our latest family member Vida Alves McConaughey…Thanks for all your well wishes our way, the future’s looking bright, just keep livin’, Matthew and Camila.”

Vida, who was born Jan. 3 in Los Angeles joins the couples’ first child together, Levi, 19 months.

Camila, who starts her gig as the host of Shear Genius on Feb. 3, tells Us Weekly that Vida is “doing great.”

“It’s easier with the second child, because, you know what she’ll be like,” she added.

As for Vida and Levi’s dad Matthew, Alves says, “To see a father with his child is beautiful.”

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed a daughter, Vida Alves McConaughey, the actor announced on his website.

“New Year and New Baby!” McConaughey wrote on Sunday. Vida was born on Jan. 3 at 12:13 a.m., weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz.

Explaining the name, he added: “‘Vida’ is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning.”

Baby Vida joins her older brother Levi, 17 months.
