In a taped interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan set to air Friday, George Clooney reveals he contracted malaria while in Sudan.
The 49-year-old actor is a frequent visitor to the northeastern African nation, where he’s involved in humanitarian work.
“I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar,” Clooney jokes with Morgan.
A rep for the actor says Clooney is now fully recovered from malaria – his second bout with the illness.
