Now that her sister Ashlee is off the show, Jessica Simpson has no problem sharing her thoughts about the CW’s Melrose Place.
A week after Ashlee Simpson-Wentz got the ax from the CW series, big sis Jess came to her rescue and Tweeted some not-so-nice thoughts about the ’90’s drama remake.
“CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with, but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press,” Jessica wrote on her Twitter page.
Ouch Jessica! Producers of Melrose did claim it was in the original plan that Ashlee and co-star Colin Egglesfield would leave the series once their storylines were wrapped.
Kate Gosselin says she can’t afford to pay the bills for herself and her eight kids since Jon withdrew a chunk of change from their joint bank account.
Kate Gosselin is firing back at her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, the same day he attempted to shut down production of Kate Plus Eight.
Jon is all of a sudden playing the concerned father card, claiming the show is harming his family, and Kate isn’t quite buying it.
“I’m saddened and confused by Jon’s public media statements. Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids,” Kate said in a statement.
“I check in regularly with each of the kids to be sure they want to participate in and continue with the show and will continue to do so,” she added.
Just two days after TLC announced they would be changing the name of the show to Kate Plus Eight, the station was forced to halt production due to Jon’s cease and desist letter.
“I do the show for my family because I believe it provides us opportunities we wouldn’t otherwise have,” Kate said.
“Jon used to share that belief until as recently as the day the network announced the name change of the show and indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show. It appears that Jon’s priority is Jon and his interests. My priority remains our children and their well-being.”
Just a little over a week after Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy called off their engagement, the Dancing with the Stars couple had to put their best faces forward to shake it for the 2009 Emmy Awards.
While Karina and Maksim’s may have looked like the happy ex-couple dancing on stage, things reportedly got heated between the two both before and after their performance.
“They were going at it, screaming at each other,” an eyewitness tells E! Online. “He said she was taking too long in hair and makeup. It got kind of loud.”
Regardless of what may or may not have gone down behind-the-scenes, Maksim tells People magazine he gave the dance his all for the sake of Karina:
“Honestly the majority of what I did today was because I knew how big of a deal it was for her. She wants this. She wants to see how she can excel. Dancing at the Emmys was such an amazing spotlight. I just wanted to make sure to give it to her even if it’s the last thing I do. So I wanted to do the best job I could, but it was hard.”
Karina and Maksim return tonight for season 9 of Dancing with the Stars on ABC.
The guilt must be settling in for Kanye West
“I feel like in Meet the Parents when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave… That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry,” Kanye said on his blog.
An earlier post apologizing to Swift reading, “Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade . . . I’m sorry to my fans if I let you guys down . . . I’m sorry to my friends at MTV . . . I will apologize to Taylor,” is no longer on the site.
After the awards, a gracious Taylor told reporters she had no hard feelings towards Kanye and “didn’t want to start anything.”
Their love is like a soap-opera, and in the latest episode, Lindsay Lohan is bashing her on-again off-again girlfriend, Samantha Ronson.
In a one-sided quarrel beginning in the early hours of Thursday morning, Lohan took to her Twitter page, to attack Ronson.
“Can you make an attempt not to ruin anything positive that I have finally deserved to cry myself to sleep with your cheats, errors, and thank you…for being a good friend before a sell-out,” she wrote–whatever that means!
She continued on her rant writing, “the term “self out” was coined from ME and i gave them sooooooo much insight For their not only COMPLETE, BUT SUBSTANISAN ***FRIENDS***********”
All that mess adds up to one big confusing outburst, but Linds attempted to make some sense with her final words to Samantha, tweeting, “BUT YOU DID perform to her..you JUST told me that your friends are worth more than i am 2 your family & that i’m gross*thx.”
Your move @samantharonson!
After partying in Vegas for a few days, Jon Gosselin took a few shots at soon-to-be ex-wife Kate Gosselin.
“I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put down,” Jon tells ABC’s Chris Cuomo in this clip of an interview set to air next week. “She’ll call me, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn’t going anywhere.”
Playing daddy of eight was quite the opposite of being a “lame fish,” according to Jon. “Well, excuse me, I’m taking care of the kids. She’s on book tours, she’s doing all these thing. You know she’s gone a week … comes back. Packs up and leaves again.”
To catch Jon’s full interview, tune into Good Morning America Sept. 8 & 9. For now, here’s a preview:
From the sound of it, Anne Heche is one bitter divorcee.
After sitting down with David Letterman Wednesday night, the Hung star had some not-so-nice words to share about her ex-hubby, Coley Laffoon.
“Can you say ‘lazy ass’ on TV?” Heche, told Letterman of her ex. She continued to bash the father of her 7-year-old son, Homer, when Letterman asked what Laffoon does for a living.
“He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, ‘Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!’”
Coley apparently didn’t seem to find Anne’s comedy routine funny at all. “I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn’t good for the soul or positive for her child. It’s mean,” he wrote on as his Facebook status.
Guess divorce was the right choice for these two!
