Former talk-show host Ricki Lake announced her engagement Thursday via Twitter:

“Thrilled to share some happy news with you….. I’m engaged! ” she wrote.

Along with the tweet, Lake, 42, shared a picture of herself with soon-to-be-hubby Christian Evans.  According to Us Weekly, they’ve been dating for over a year.

Lake’s rep told the mag that Evans popped the question while the couple vacationed in Spain.

Another tweet followed the announcement, suggesting Lake and Evans waited a bit to share the news:

“The cat is out of the bag. Phew! I’m terrible at keeping secrets. : )”

Lake has two sons from her previous marriage to Rob Sussman, 14-year-old Milo, and 9-year-old Owen.

Since her talk-show days, Lake has appeared on several reality shows and launched a social network for moms-to-be.

You could say Mark-Paul Gosselaar is bouncing back from his May divorce pretty quickly.

The Franklin and Bash star is engaged to advertising executive, Catriona McGinn, People reports.

Gosselaar, 36, proposed with a 5 carat cushion-cut diamond designed by his friend, jeweler Neil Lane, according to the mag.

“He couldn’t wait to propose,” Lane tells People. “He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams.”

The former child-star has two children, Michael, 7, and Ava, 5, from his previous marriage to Lisa Ann Russell.
