The former Miss California — who was fired by pageant officials this summer — talks to Meredith Vieira about her sex tape and being “Palinized” by the media.
Carrie Prejean is back in the news…thanks to a sex tape. The former Miss California just dropped her lawsuit against the pageant and is serving up a new book, called “still standing.” Meredith Vieira asked the beauty queen a few questions that obviously struck a nerve.
You can call it what you want I was by myself, you can call it a sex tape if you want to, , it was for private use, the biggest mistake of my life, nothing’s private anymore//3:10 it’s a campaign to silence me & embarrass me but I’m still standing
Why’d you drop the lawsuit?
Everything in mediation is confidential. I’m not allowed to discuss it.
A testy Carrie Prejean tells Meredith that she’s been attacked for her conservative views ever since she gave the now infamous response to the gay marriage question at the 2009 miss USA competition.
7 months after I gave that answer, I’m still I’ve been palinized, do you know what that is? Yes, I do think they gave her a hard time, like they do other politicians. There’s a double standard out there, that’s why I wrote the book.
Do you want to say something?
