Lindsay Lohan Takes Herself out of Emmy Race

Taking a page out of Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl’s book, Lindsay Lohan has taken herself out of the race for an Emmy.
The singer/actress had a cameo in Ugly Betty this season and therefore qualified for a Guest Actress statue.
But her publicist told the Los Angeles Times that the stint was too short to count in their book. “The appearance was brief,” Leslie Sloane tells the paper. “We made a decision to wait.”
Lohan, who plays a bully on the show, could get another shot at an Emmy next season, when she returns to Ugly Betty for the ongoing role.
