Reports: Alex Rodriguez Splits From Wife
July 03, 2008
Madonna, Lenny Kravitz—it seems the Rodriguez’s are big music fans. Alex Rodriguez and his wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, have been reportedly cheating on each other.
Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported the Yankees player split from his wife less than three months after the birth of their second daughter.
Citing an anonymous source, the paper said that Rodriguez and wife, Cynthia, have separated after having “problems” for about three months.
The story comes amid reports that linked Rodriguez to Madonna. Rodriguez has refused to comment on the rumors.
But A-Rod isn’t the only rumored cheater in the marriage. Tuesday, the New York Post reported that Kravitz and Rodriguez’s wife Cynthia have been “spending cozy time” in Paris for at least the past four days.
Cynthia Rodriguez’s mother, Evangeline Scurtis, denied reports that her daughter had gone on a romantic getaway with rocker Lenny Kravitz to Paris.
“She is not! I know that,” Scurtis told The Daily News.
For his part, Kravitz issued a statement first posted on Perez Hilton Thursday, saying: “There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself. This is unequivocally 100 percent not true.”
The couple was married in November 2002 and has two children, Natasha, 3, and Ella, who was born April 21.
