SPICE BABY HAS CHICKEN POX
November 30, 2007
Ginger Spice, aka Geri Halliwell, will leave her baby girl Bluebell at home while she prepares to kick off the Spice Girls world tour due to a bad case of chickenpox, she told the British TV show GMTV Friday morning.
Halliwell's 18-month-old daughter Bluebell will stay at home while her mother begins her world tour in Vancouver on Sunday.
"Bluebell caught chickenpox from [Victoria Beckham's son] Cruz," Halliwell, 35, revealed on the show. "She's completely pelted now so I left her at home. Normally they're running around the set."
On the Spice Girls' blog, Halliwell explains, Bluebell "loves hanging with the Victoria Beckham boys. Cruz and Bluebell have play dates, and Romeo -- well, he is just gorgeous with her. Actually, it was a beautiful moment when we were rehearsing the other day and all of our kids were playing on the stage at the same time. It made me smile."
All the Spice Girls have at least one child, except for Melanie Chisholm, better known as Sporty Spice.
