American Idol’s Paris Bennett Is Pregnant at 19

Former American Idol contestant Paris Bennett is celebrating with her family that she waited until the ripe age of 19 to have a baby.
“I’m proud of how she did it. I was 16 when I got pregnant,” Bennett’s mom Jamecia told Minnesota’s Star Tribune.
The Season 5 contestant is expecting a baby girl in October.
“This makes five generations,” added Jamecia.
Bennett’s mom hints there may be a wedding in the works for her young Idol.
“She has a ring,” Jamecia said of her daughter.
As for the father, Bennett’s mother told the paper, “He chooses not to be in the public eye. I respect that.”
Princess P, her nickname on Idol, has a Queen looking out for her and the new baby. Bennett’s mom told the paper that Queen Latifah will spoil the baby with gifts and can’t be stopped.
“You’re the princess but I’m the queen,” Latifah told Paris.
