Tori Spelling Finalizing Deal to Return to 90210

tori-spelling-273x300 picture Tori Spelling Finalizing Deal to Return to 90210With the return of 90210 to the CW, die-hard fans of the ‘90’s soap finally got an on-screen reunion between Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty.

Now, it looks like the missing piece of the puzzle–Tori Spelling–may finally be returning to her old zip code.

A rep for 90210 confirms to EW.com that Spelling is in “final negotiations” to return to Beverly Hills to pick up her role as good-girl Donna Martin.

Spelling is rumored to be closing the deal any day, and will likely make a comeback for multiple episodes, the website reports.

So why is there yet to be a Donna Martin sighting in the halls of West Beverly High?

Spelling, whose father Aaron created the original series, reportedly refused to work alongside former co-star and real-life frenemy Shannen Doherty, who reprised her role as Brenda Walsh for several episodes this season.

Unfortunately for longtime 90210 fans, it doesn’t look like there will be any Donna/Brenda catfights in the near future—Doherty has already finished shooting her episodes for the season.

Heath Ledger’s memory was alive and well Wednesday night at the People’s Choice Awards.

The Dark Knight, which co-starred Ledger as a perfectly wicked Joker, swept the show, winning all five of five awards it was nominated for.

The Batman sequel scored wins for Favorite Movie, Favorite Cast, Action Movie and Onscreen Matchup.

Christian Bale nabbed a trophy for Favorite Superhero–and gave props to co-star Ledger, who died last year of an accidental drug overdose.

“Thank you very, very much,” Bale said in his acceptance speech. “Here’s to Heath, thank you.”

Taylor Swift is thrilled to performing on the first Saturday Night Live episode of ’09.

The best part? The 19-year-old country star’s SNL gig will happen on her mom’s birthday.

Swift calls being on the comedy show “something I’ve been dreaming about and hoping for and wishing for years.”

Adds the teen singer on her blog: “It’s my mom’s birthday, and I don’t think either of us would’ve believed you if you would’ve told us a few years ago that we’d get to spend her birthday in New York City–at Saturday Night Live! Wow. It’s pretty unreal.”

Swift hinted she’ll be shooting the music video for her upcoming single “White Horse” this week and said she’s busy planning her summer ‘09 tour.

Neil Patrick Harris will join Taylor Swift as the host of the Jan. 10 episode of SNL.
