ANISTON TAKES ON ROLE OF DIRECTOR
August 13, 2007 Jennifer Aniston will soon add a new job description to her resume-that of director.
The actress will make her directorial debut at the 2007 Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, set for Aug. 23-29, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Aniston's short film, "Room 10," stars Robin Wright Penn and Kris Kristofferson and is set in an emergency room.
Aniston was reportedly inspired to direct by fellow actress (and fellow ex-love of Brad Pitt) Gwyneth Paltrow, who directed her own short in 2006.
The upcoming festival will showcase 54 world premieres, 12 North American premieres and 20 U.S. premieres, screened as part of 50 themed programs.
