Avril Lavigne: I Wear the Pants!

Avril Lavigne gave a shout out to girl power while addressing a group of young fans at a London concert Wednesday night.

“Are there any girls who wear the pants in their relationship? I certainly do!” she hollered to the crowd, The London Paper reports.

Among the Sk8er Boi singer’s British fans? None other than Madonna’s 11-year-old daughter, Lourdes, who was snapped rockin’ out to Lavigne tunes at the O2 in London.

After the concert, Lavigne, 23, revealed to The London Paper that she has a dramatic movie role on tap: “I’ve got a film role coming up – something you wouldn’t expect from me, something deep and dark.”

The Canadian singer is also set to launch her own perfume and a line of shampoo and bath products.
