BRIT HITS VEGAS WITH THE KIDS
July 27, 2007 Britney Spears has decided to take a break from her hectic life and take the kids to Las Vegas, according to People. The singer flew in a private plane to Sin City on Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by her brother, Bryan and kids Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months. According to sources, there is no word on what Spears plans to do while in Las Vegas. However, it is being reported that she made special arrangements to have her hotel room childproofed for her stay. As if things weren't already frantic in Spears' life, this trip to Las Vegas could pose some problems for any custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Under California law, neither parent is allowed to take a child out of state without permission from the other or by obtaining a court order. A source close to Federline tells people that Spears failed to notify her ex or his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, that she was heading to Las Vegas with the kids. "
