BRITNEY LATE FOR DEPOSITION
January 03, 2008
Fashionably late as always, Britney Spears arrives almost two hours after the scheduled start of her deposition, according to Splash News.
Spears, who failed to show up to five previously scheduled depositions with Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, was seen stepping out of her white Merecdes in a pink halter dress and her signature shades.
The proceedings, which were scheduled for 9:45 a.m., began shortly after Spears' 11 a.m. arrival and lasted only 20 minutes as the pop princess rushed off to be home and meet her son, according to Splash News.
Kaplan reportedly will use evidence gathered from the depositions to try to persuade the court that Kevin Federline should be granted primary physical custody of the couples' two kids, Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, in the ongoing custody battle.
