BRITNEY SPEARS ATTENDS DEPOSITION
January 21, 2008
After skipping or cutting short recent court appearances, Britney Spears appeared at Kevin Federline's attorney's office on Monday for a deposition in their ongoing custody battle.
The singer, clad in a dark top and jeans, arrived with friend Sam Lutfi around 10:40 a.m. She left about three hours later, reportedly after two and a half hours of testimony.
Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, was expected to ask Spears about her drug and alcohol use and other matters relating to her parenting skills during the meeting at his office.
On Jan. 3, Spears arrived an hour and a half late for a scheduled deposition that lasted only 14 minutes. Last Monday, the singer drove around near the court house for left without entering the building.
