Britney Spears’ Ex Says He Gets Death Threats
June 05, 2008
Britney Spears ex-boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, can’t take the attention that came with dating the pop star.
Ghalib, who very publicly dated Spears in January, told Heat Magazine that he’s quitting his job as a pap and “going into hiding” after receiving several death threats. The photographer claims the threats have to do with a possible sex tape he made with Britney Spears.
“I have had many calls about it from all over the world...In light of the constant calls about the sex tape and threats, I’m taking a break from the industry and keeping a low profile,” he tells the magazine.
Ghalib, 35, and Spears, 26, were first spotted together in January following Spears’ hospitalization for psychiatric evaluation. The pair met when the British-reared photographer was on the Britney beat. They reportedly broke up after the singer discovered that Ghalib hoped to make $10 million from private pictures he had taken of her.
