Britney Spears is in trouble with the law again. LAPD is conducting an investigation into a traffic mishap Friday, when Britney Spears ran over an L.A. County Sheriff deputy's foot, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
The Sheriff's Department and the LAPD is conducting an "active investigation" into the "traffic collision complaint," according to the website. The LAPD is looking at the possibility of hit and run.
The incident occurred as Spears was leaving the L.A. County Courthouse after her custody hearing on October 26.
Spears has had a bevy of legal issues as of late. On Wednesday, host Ryan Seacrest asked how the pop star handles all the negative media attention, Britney said, "I try not to let it get to me. You just try to keep doing what you do. As long as you know what's up, that's what really matters."
