BRITNEY SPEARS’ LAWYERS WILL NOT QUIT
January 24, 2008
CelebTV.com was the first to reveal that Britney Spears' divorce attorney, Sorrell Trope, was seeking to drop his troubled client in a motion filed Jan. 2.
Now the law firm has changed their tune. The pop star will continue to be represented by Trope and Trope.
Late Wednesday, Spears' attorneys withdrew a pending motion that had asked the court to allow them to drop the singer as a client.
Trope had filed a motion in L.A. Superior Court to be relieved as Spears' counsel, saying he could no longer represent the singer's interests.
A Wednesday custody hearing issued no changes in the order suspending Spears' visitation rights.
Kevin Federline still has sole physical custody of the boys.
