BRITNEY SPEARS ON MALIBU FIRES: “I’M KINDA SCARED”

Pop star Britney Spears stopped at her favorite haunt, Starbucks, on Sunday where she expressed concern for the Malibu fires to the paparazzi. When asked about the fire, Britney said, "I don't think it touched my house."
One pap advised her to check out the situation, since the fires are close to her Malibu home. Spears answered, "I know, I'm kinda scared."
According to X17online.com, Britney's northern Malibu house isn't close enough to be in danger of the Malibu fires.
Spears and her boys are fine. Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, are reportedly relaxing at dad Kevin Federline's house.
For her part, the troubled songstress was spotted shopping in Beverly Hills Sunday. One nice thing came out of her Starbucks stop: the singer learned her single "Gimme More" is number one on the iTunes chart.
While speaking to the surrounding paparazzi, Spears kept her recently puffed-up lips covered with her hands.
