BRIT’S MTV COMEBACK

September 07, 2007 CelebTV.com was at the Palms' Casino when Britney Spears made her long-awaited comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

Clad in a sparkly black bra top and matching briefs, Spears lip-synched her way through "Gimme More," the first single from her upcoming album. She also sported bright blue contact lenses and long, platinum-blond hair extensions.

The 25-year-old singer cautiously worked her way around the stage in sky-high black stiletto boots for the nearly four-minute-long dance performance. Illusionist Criss Angel was rumored to be working with Spears on her MTV performance, but there were no signs of his magic tricks in the act.
