CELEBTV.COM EXCLUSIVE: BLOOM’S ACCIDENT PASSENGER REVEALED
October 12, 2007
Orlando Bloom was involved in a car accident at 2:15 a.m. Friday at the corner of Fountain and Vista in Los Angeles, according to an L.A.P.D. spokesperson.
CelebTV.com was the first to learn the passenger was celebrity stylist Cher Coulter, whose star-studded client roster includes not only Bloom, but his ex-girlfriend Kate Bosworth, along with Hugh Grant, Jared Leto and Diane Kruger.
The car crash reportedly involved the car Bloom was driving -- a Toyota Matrix -- and a parked Porsche Cayenne.
An L.A.P.D. spokesperson told CelebTV.com, "Witnesses say Mr. Bloom was cut off by another vehicle and hit a parked car. There was minor damage to both vehicles, but no one was injured."
Police added there is no record of injuries and Bloom is not suspected of speeding. However, photos and video of a woman with a bleeding head -- apparently Cher Coulter -- have surfaced on X17 online. A call to Coulter's rep by CelebTV.com was not immediately returned.
Contrary to rumors circulating the internet about alcohol and drug use, an L.A.P.D. spokesperson told us, "There is no suspected use of drugs or alcohol."
The actor's publicist released a statement Friday, addressing the accident: "Bloom called for help immediately following the incident. He spent last night at the hospital to be with his childhood friend who sustained a minor neck injury. He is thankful that emergency services arrived so quickly and that the ER staff at Cedars Sinai took such good care of his friend."
