CELEBTV.COM EXCLUSIVE: BRIGITTE NIELSEN IN REHAB
July 19, 2007 CelebTV.com confirms that Danish actress Brigitte Nielsen, 44, has entered rehab in North Hollywood for alcohol addiction.
Nielsen's manager, Steven Tempone, tells CelebTV.com exclusively, "I wish her the best of luck. She has been a dear friend of mine for over 20 years. This was a decision she made on her own, and I love her and I am glad she is getting help."
The towering blonde actress and former high fashion model made her U.S. debut in the 1985 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Red Sonja. She also starred in Rocky IV with future husband Sylvester Stallone that same year. The two were married from 1985-87. The actress, who has four children, married her fifth husband, Italian bartender Mattia Dessi, in 2006.
Tempone says that he looks forward to celebrating his July birthday with Nielsen, who turned 44 on Monday. "I hope that when she gets out we can celebrate our birthdays together," he tells CelebTV.com.
