CELEBTV.COM EXCLUSIVE: JUDGE RULES BRITNEY MUST PAY UP TO KEVIN
November 06, 2007 CelebTV.com is the first to obtain a document with new financial details in the ongoing custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.
According to a minute order dated Nov. 6 and filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Kevin Federline requested on Oct. 10 that Spears cover his attorney's fees in the amount of $160,000.
The papers stipulate that Federline, a self-employed performing artist, "does not earn any income" but does get $20,000 per month in spousal support from Spears.
Regardless, Court Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled Tuesday that Spears must also cover Federline's attorney costs, to the tune of $120,000, considering the "disparity" in the couple's income.
Spears and Federline are due back in court on Nov. 26 for another hearing in their custody fight over Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
