Country Star Chris Cagle Arrested for Domestic Assault

Country music singer Chris Cagle was arrested on Wednesday for domestic assault following a fight with his girlfriend.
Cagle and his girlfriend Jennifer Tant, who live in Nashville, were intoxicated when an argument between the two turned physical, according to a police affidavit.
Both were jailed on misdemeanor domestic assault charges and were forced to complete a mandatory 12-hour stay in jail before posting their $1,500 bonds.
Cagle is scheduled to stand trial on September 23 in Arizona on a separate assault charge after being accused of striking resident Mark Barry last December after a benefit concert.
