Actor Dylan McDermott has officially filed for divorce from his wife, actress Shiva Rose, after over 12 years of marriage, according to documents first obtained by CelebTV.com.
In court papers filed May 16 in L.A. Superior Court, McDermott cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
The couple have two daughters together, 12-year-old Collette and 2-year-old Charlotte.
McDermott—who starred in TV’s The Practice--and Rose were married in 1995 and separated last spring.
Property and custody issues will be determined at a later date.
