CelebTV.com spotted Kevin Federline leaving the L.A. County Courthouse on Monday around 12:45 p.m. PST for a lunch break in his latest custody hearing with ex Britney Spears.
Sporting a navy pinstripe suit and a fresh mohawk, Federline was smiling and chewing gum when he arrived at court with his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan at about 8:45 a.m.
Police, firefighters and emergency medical technicians are expected to testify Monday to give their accounts of a bizarre Jan. 3 standoff at Spears' home. The pop star became hysterical and refused to return the boys, Jayden James,1, and Sean Preston, 2, to ex-husband Federline at 7:00 p.m. that night as scheduled.
She finally wound up at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was held overnight for a mental evaluation.
LAPD sources tell CelebTV.com that so far, a male police officer who was first on the scene has already testified.
Spears has yet to arrive in court and it is unknown whether the pop princess will show.
