Although young Hollywood seems to be running the show lately, Oprah Winfrey, 54, tops Forbes Celebrity 100 list. The new list is based on power in both earnings and fame.
Despite dwingling TV ratings and magazine circulation, Winfrey earned $275 million before taxes in the past year, and remains one of the most famous faces on the planet.
Coming in well behind Oprah–but still making a spectacular showing–is teen queen Miley Cyrus.
The 15-year-old, who recently finished a concert tour, had a hit 3-D movie and got plenty of attention for controversial photos in Vanity Fair, came in at number 35. The pop singer, who also stars in the hit show Hannah Montana, leads a slew of young stars onto the annual list. According to the magazine, she raked in $25 million last year.
Power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt also both made Forbes’ top 10 list, bringing in a combined $34 million income and an unrivaled about of fame.
