No CommentsFormer NBA star Dennis Rodman entered a rehab program on Monday morning, after being arrested last week for allegedly striking his girlfriend.
“Yes he attended an outpatient program for the first time this morning,” Rodman’s manager, Darren Prince, confirms to CelebTV.com. “I think it is a 28 to 30 day program.”
Rodman was spotted with friends in Miami this weekend, according to TMZ.
On May 30, Rodman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery.
“We arrested former NBA player Dennis Rodman for domestic violence,” Sara Faden from LAPD media relations told CelebTV.com. “We were called to investigate a domestic dispute at a hotel in the 2100 block of Avenue of the Stars. During the investigation, we learned Rodman had struck a woman who had suffered injuries to her arm. He was taken into custody and arrested for domestic violence.”
According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department booking report, Rodman was arrested at 11:00 p.m. and was released early Thursday morning on $50,000 bail.
Rodman will next appear in court on May 22.
