A music producer is suing High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens to the tune of $5 million.
Johnny Vieria claims the Disney actress agreed to pay him royalties for helping to launch her career but hasn’t made good on the payments, according to a lawsuit filed Monday in L.A. Superior court.
Hudgens, 19, and her father, Greg, sued to get out of the agreement, but still owe Vieria money, the lawsuit states.
The music producer signed Hudgens in 2005, before she landed her breakthrough role in the HSM series.
Last year, Hudgens was sued by a lawyer who claimed she owed him $150,000 in unpaid legal fees, as first reported by CelebTV.com.
The teen settled the case, but details of the settlement were not disclosed.
