We’re not sure exactly who Chace Crawford is channeling in this new photo shoot for Interview magazine- but one things for sure- he looks sexy!

The slicked back ‘do, the Prada suit the and even the tatts… We are definitely liking this side of the Gossip Girl hottie, and you know what? He does too.

Crawford tells the mag, “ It’s good to switch things up.. … You have to be realistic with yourself as to what your range is going to be. ... You need to know what your threshold is and what you can take on and what gets to a point where the audience doesn’t believe it.

Crawford says he actually applies that principle to his real life as well. He says, “ I’m the biggest believer in not talking. I don’t Twitter or MySpace or Facebook. I want to keep to myself. I don’t want to be out there. You have to keep some kind of control over who you are.”

So the 24 year old has done that by splitting up with his roommate and GG castmate Ed Westwick, and venturing out on his own.

Crawford says his and Ed’s decision to go their separate ways had nothing to do with not getting along, but just about timing.

The hunky actor’s time is more precious than ever now with GG back in production and the intense training he’s doing for “Footloose.”

Crawford says he’s been working unbelievably hard to get into shape. “I’m going to try to get shredded. And my flexibility has already gone up like double. Really, what it’s so much about is core strength and flexibility.”
